6 killed after car rammed with a truck's rear end in UP's Muzaffarnagar
MUZAFFARNAGAR: Six friends died in a road accident on Tuesday morning near Chhapar on Delhi-Dehradun highway in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh. All the dead are said to be residents of Delhi. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over the accident.
According to reports, at about 4 am in the morning a truck,bearing registration number PB10ES6377 while was going from Muzaffarnagar to Haridwar,a speeding car near Chhapar rammed into the rear end of the truck from behind. All the deceased died on the spot.
Getting information, the police arrived on the spot and started pulling out the damaged car from under the truck with the help of a crane.The deceased are identified as Shivam, Parsh, Kunal, Dheeraj, Vishal, residents of Shahdara, Delhi. One of these has not been identified. Police say that in the preliminary investigation, the reason for the accident seems to be the high speed of the car.
"The car was badly damaged in the accident and the police had to use cranes to retrieve it. The victims had already died when they were brought out. Still we took them to the hospital where doctors declared them dead," said a police officer.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives. Wishing peace to the departed souls, he expressed condolences to the bereaved family members.
