7 Killed In Wall Collapse In Madhya Pradesh's Datia
Datia, Madhya Pradesh: Seven persons were killed after an old wall adjacent to a house collapsed on Thursday due to heavy rains in Madhya Pradesh's Datia town, according to reports. Nine people are still trapped under the debris,reports said.
The incident took place at around 4 am in Khalkapura area.
Expressing grief over the incident, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced an assistance of ? 4 lakh each to the kin of the victims, the official said.
Senior officials reached the spot soon after the incident and launched the rescue operation.
