A 25-year-old youth attacked by criminals in Angul town
ANGUL:One 25-year-youth, reportedly a BJP activist got seriously injured by lethal attack by four miscreants at the town around this noon today.The injured Partha sarathi Pradhan belonging to Angarabandha area has sustained injuries on his chest by the armed miscreants who attacked him with bhujali and sword. His family members lodged a complaint in Angul town police station in this regard demanding arrest of the criminals involved in the murderous attack.
According to police,Partha is a body builder and works in a gymnasium located at Maitri Nagar.
In the noon today while he was standing with his friend at a petrol pump at Gandhi Marg four miscreants armed with weapons attacked him with sharp-edged weapons, injuring seriously. While Partha got injured his friend fled away. Partha was immediately taken to Angul DHH having chest injuries and was admitted to the hospital.
Angul town IIC Dhiresh Dash said Partha is having a criminal record and was released recently from jail.He said according to preliminary investigations there was an enmity with those attackers which caused this murderous attack. The IIC said he received an FIR from the family of the Partha and has launched a manhunt to nab the culprits. He ruled out any connection of political rivalry in this case.
