AIMPLB to Hold Public Meeting in Hyderabad on April 19 Against Waqf Amendment Law

(Fast Mail News):--The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) will organize a public meeting in Hyderabad on April 19 to protest against the Waqf Amendment Act.

The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi sharing this information on Sunday said,a public meeting, under the leadership of AIMPLB president Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, will be held at Darussalam (AIMIM headquarters) from 7 PM to 10 PM.

Hyderabad MP Owaisi stated that members of the Muslim Personal Law Board from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, along with other Muslim organizations from both states, will participate in the meeting. He added that speeches will be delivered to inform the public that the Waqf Amendment Act is not in favor of Waqf.

The AIMIM chief also mentioned that they are trying to reach out to members of the Parliamentary Waqf Committee, and if their busy schedules permit, they may attend the public meeting.

President Droupadi Murmu gave her assent to the Waqf Amendment Bill, 2025, on April 5, which was passed by Parliament in the first week of April.
