Angul: CM to inaugurate Talcher Hospital today

ANGUL: After a long wait chief minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to formally inaugurate Pabitra Mohan Pradhan Hospital at Talcher on Friday on virtual mode.The district collector ,local MP,MLA and higher MCL officials besides health minister also will be present at Talcher during the function organised at Medical college campus.
ANGUL: After a long wait chief minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to formally inaugurate Pabitra Mohan Pradhan Hospital at Talcher on Friday on virtual mode.The district collector ,local MP,MLA and higher MCL officials besides health minister also will be present at Talcher during the function organised at Medical college campus.
According to reports,the hospital will be inaugurated at 5pm today by the chief minister in a video conferencing.All the dignitaries will be present at Talcher hospital on the occasion.
Pabitra Mohan Pradhan Hospital building though completed in 2015 was operational last month with the posting of doctors and para-medical staff.The tug of war between the state government and MCL on the management started for years by which the Medical College and Hospital couldn’t be functional.Finally,the state government has agreed to take over the management with MCL funding for five years.
Though the hospital has started, the Medical college is yet to be started. Initially,the hospital will be functioning with outdoor and indoor facilities.
