Another Bharat Jodo yatra, Congress launching Hat Se Hat Jodo campaign, may add to BJP's troubles

NEW DELHI: After Congress Party's Bharat Jodo Yatra, the party is going to launch 'Haath Se Haath Jodo Abhiyan'. This campaign will last for about two months. On Saturday, Congress senior leader Jairam Ramesh, MP KC Venugopal and other senior leaders held a press conference and released the campaign logo.They slso issued a 'charge sheet' against the central government.

Congress Leader Jairam Ramesh said that our target is on the failures of the Modi government. He said, “Haath Se Haath Jodo Abhiyan is the second phase of Bharat Jodo Abhiyan. Rahul Gandhi raised issues based on ideology in Bharat Jodo Abhiyan. It had nothing to do with the election. Our target in Haat Se Haat Jodo Abhiyan is the failure of the Modi government, it is 100% political.”

Congress MP KC Venugopal said that the 'Haath Se Haath Jodo' campaign will start from January 26. This door-to-door campaign will be conducted to spread the message of Bharat Jodo Yatra to common people. Today we have issued a charge sheet against the Modi government.

KC Venugopal said, “The concerned State Congress Committees (PCCs) will frame charge sheets and if necessary against the respective state governments. Congress party will remove the pain of people due to 'misgovernance' of Modi government. After 130 days of this historic event (Bharat Jodo Yatra) Congress got enough input from the people of the country, lakhs of people spoke to Rahul Gandhi. We can understand the pain they are going through due to the misrule of the Modi government.”

Earlier, while addressing a press conference in Kathua, Jammu & Kashmir, Jairam Ramesh said, "Congress canvas will reach every house in 10 lakh polling booths in 6 lakh villages and 2.5 lakh gram panchayats." . The Haath Se Haath Jodo campaign will run from January 26 to March 26. Congress workers will campaign from house to house and reach every house in 10 lakh polling booths in 6 lakh villages and 2.5 lakh gram panchayats.
