At least 8 Workers Killed,7 Injured in Firecracker Factory Explosion in Andhra Pradesh

 ANAKAPALLI: At least eight workers,including two women were killed and seven others injured in a firethat  broke out at a firecracker factory on Sunday in Andhra Pradesh’s Anakapalli district.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed grief over the incident.

Home Minister V. Anitha stated, “In the fire accident, eight people, including two women, lost their lives, and several others were injured.”

 

 She added that the injured are being admitted to nearby hospitals and that detailed information about the incident is awaited.

An official statement said that the Chief Minister has directed the Minister Anitha and district authorities to ensure better medical facilities for the injured.
