Bihar: Double Murder in Begusarai Creates Panic, Bodies Found Packed in Polythene

BEGUSARAI: A shocking double murder incident has surfaced in Begusarai, Bihar, causing widespread panic n the locality. Two brothers were brutally beaten to death, their hands and feet tied, and their bodies packed in polythene bags before being dumped in a field. The police recovered the bodies in the Amarpur village area under the Barauni police station.

The deceased have been identified as 19-year-old Aman Kumar and 16-year-old Chaman Kumar, sons of Vipin Kumar Chaudhary from Dadpur village in the Teyay OP area. The sight of the bodies left onlookers horrified.

On Monday evening around 5 PM, laborers heading to cut wheat in the fields were startled to find two polythene bags. Inside, they discovered the bodies of two young men dumped in the field. As news spread, hundreds of locals gathered at the scene. It is suspected that the brothers were brutally beaten to death, their hands and feet tied, and their bodies packed in polythene before being discarded in the field behind the under-construction Vastu Vihar, likely transported by a four-wheeler.

Upon receiving the information, police from Singhaul, Barauni, and other stations arrived at the scene and began investigations. Given the severity of the incident, SP Manish also visited the site and stated that the bodies of two young men, approximately 20-25 years old, were recovered from the field. It appears they were beaten to death, and their bodies were found packed in polythene. A Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team has been called to assist with the investigation.

The family revealed that Vipin Chaudhary had bought a Swift Dezire car for his son about two months ago, fulfilling his wish. On Monday, around 11 AM, Aman and Chaman left home in the car to visit an acquaintance in Hasanpur under the Teghra police station area. They parked the car there and took a bike, saying they would return soon. When they didn’t return home, the family assumed they might have gone somewhere with the car.

On Monday night, the bike owner visited the family and informed them that the brothers had taken his bike but hadn’t returned. This raised concerns, and the family reported the matter to the police, filing a missing persons report. While the family was searching for the brothers, their bodies were discovered late Monday evening.
