Bihar: Tejashwi Yadav attacks Nitish Kumar, says - Government of criminals, for criminals

Tejashwi Yadav has attacked Nitish Kumar over the rising crime in Bihar. He wrote on X, "Government of criminals, for criminals." Despite hundreds of murders taking place in just a few days, not a single word comes out of the Chief Minister's mouth on the collapsed law and order situation in the state".

Tejashwi Yadav released a list of 117 criminal incidents.

Just a day earlier, Tejashwi Yadav had also cornered CM Nitish Kumar over the increasing crime. He had written on X, "Some major criminal incidents from the era of 'Jungle Raj' prevalent in Bihar since 5000 BC, occurring on this very day:

• JDU MLA Panna Lal Patel's nephew Kaushal Singh shot dead.

• Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi's granddaughter shot dead.

• BJP MP Janardan Sigrival and District Magistrate (IAS) attacked with bricks, stones, sticks, and batons.

 • Bihar government’s current minister, MLA, and former Deputy CM Renu Devi’s mobile and purse stolen in broad daylight.

• A few days ago, Union Minister Nityanand Rai’s nephew was shot dead.

• A few days ago, Union Minister Rajbhushan Chaudhary’s uncle was also shot.

• Attack on a female officer in her office.

• Attacks on various police teams in different districts."

He said, "It is only when the government’s authority collapses that criminals become so emboldened. Look at the audacity and courage of criminals in the incidents mentioned above. Selected media, the elite class, and intellectuals will absolutely not call this a law and order problem. Do these people find such rampant criminal incidents, occurring amid a broken law and order system, to be auspicious for the state’s welfare? Are the NDA allies considering these incidents as celebratory firing, sitting silently with curd in their mouths?"
