BJP took commission in Covid vaccine also, alleges Shivpal Yadav

LUCKNOW:Amid the controversy over the anti-Covid vaccine 'Covishield', Samajwadi Party's national general secretary Shivpal Singh Yadav on Tuesday alleged that BJP took commission in the Covid vaccine and substandard and expensive medicines were given to the public. Shivpal Yadav said, “They (BJP) have also taken commission in the vaccine. The whole story has been exposed that low quality vaccines and medicines were given to the people. Now everyone knows this.”

When asked about the vaccine, SP candidate from Mainpuri Dimple Yadav said, “Akhilesh ji (SP President) had already said that we will not get this vaccine because till then it had not been tested further. But, at present, cases of heart attacks have increased in cities and villages, people are suddenly suffering from serious diseases.'' Dimple alleged that a donation of Rs 200-300 crore was taken from the makers of Covishield and they were given permission to vaccinate and people were forcefully vaccinated.

She further said, "Today big corruption has been exposed and many people have lost their lives because of it."SP President Akhilesh Yadav had said during the Corona epidemic that he would not get the "BJP vaccine". And when their government comes, everyone will be vaccinated for free. There was a lot of uproar over this statement of Akhilesh and BJP leaders also attacked Yadav over this statement.

AstraZeneca has admitted that the vaccine developed by the University of Oxford to protect against Covid-19 can "in very rare cases" cause blood clots and reduce platelet counts. The AstraZeneca Vaxzevria vaccine was also produced by the Serum Institute of India (SII) and is known as 'Covishield' in India.
