Congress Will Put A Stop From Exploitation By BJD-BJP in Odisha, Says AICC In-charge Lallu
- Congress to Gherao Odisha Assembly on March 27
BHUBANESWAR: Amid the Congress announcement to gherao Odisha assembly on March 27 in protest against the rising atrocities against women in the state and the suspension of party MLA Tara Prasad Bahinipati from the House, the AICC Odisha in-charge Ajay Kumar Lallu vows to make a stop from Odisha being exploited both by the BJD and BJP governments for decades together.
In a hard hitting statement on his "X"the AICC Congress-Incharge aid, “For three decades, the BJD government was in power in Odisha, with the BJP acting as its puppet, and now the BJP is in government. Odisha, which is rich in natural resources, both the BJD and BJP exploited the state and its natural resources and in the coming days, the Congress party will work to put a stop to this. People were denied social justice and the governments here have shown their character by being anti-Dalit, anti-backward, and anti-deprived. We will no longer allow this injustice being done again. We will fight and win the battle for Odisha's pride and honour”.
The AICC in-charge Ajay Kumar Lallu has,how ever, expressed satisfaction over the fact that the Congress party has become a favourite among the people of Odisha after the recent agitation programs in the state by the party. He also called for the party to intensify its protests in a more effective manner against the atrocities and rapes being committed on women and minor girls during the BJP's rule.
