New Delhi:The pollution level in Delhi may have decreased somewhat in the last few days. But if we talk about PM2.5 mall particles found as pollution in the air which especially harm the lungs, then its quantity has increased by 140 percent in the last 24 hours. This decline in air quality has been recorded just after Diwali.

PM2.5, the most harmful of all particles present in the air, was recorded at an average of 200.8 per hour at 7 am. According to data recorded by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), it was 83.5 at the same time on Sunday. According to CPCB data, PM2.5 and PM10 pollutant levels reached 500 at most places including Rohini, ITO and Delhi airport area during this period.

Due to rain in Delhi last Thursday night and Friday morning, there was an improvement in the pollution level. But due to the fireworks on Diwali, the air quality again reached poor levels. The air quality level in many areas of Delhi has once again reached around 300.

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the air quality in Delhi remained in the 'poor' category on Monday. AQI was recorded at 296 in Anand Vihar, 290 in RK Puram, 280 in Punjabi Bagh and 263 in ITO.
