Delhi Election: ACB reaches Arvind Kejriwal's house to investigate 'poaching' allegations

NEW DELHI: A day before the results of the Delhi Assembly elections, the politics of the national capital Delhi has heated up on Friday after the claim of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal about buying candidates.The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has reportedly entered the residence of AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Friday.

Reportedly, a three-member ACB team has entered at Kejriwal's house to question him about the claim of 15 crores.The former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had alleged on Thursday that 16 of his candidates have received calls to join another party and each has been offered Rs 15 crore.

Arvind Kejriwal said in a post on the social media platform X, "Some agencies are showing that a party is getting more than 55 seats. In last two hours, 16 of our candidates have received calls that leave AAP and join their party, they will make you a minister and will give Rs 15 crore to each of them. If their party is getting more than 55 seats, then what is the need to call our candidates?"

An ACB official had confirmed that the Anti-Corruption Bureau has sent teams to the residences of Arvind Kejriwal, Sanjay Singh and Mukesh Ahlawat.

Earlier on Friday morning, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal had called all the candidates to his house for a discussion over tea.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sandeep Pathak said,”All the candidates are continuously receiving calls from the BJP and are being offered money and efforts are being made to break them”.
