Five stranded students rescued from dense Saptasajya forest

 ANGUL:Angul:Five diploma students from Cuttack who lost their way in dense Saptasajya forest were rescued by joint team of police and forest department after hours long tireless operation. All the reswcued students were examined in Dhenkanal district headquarter hospital and they  were found wealthy health even despite being stranded in the jungle for more than 12 hours.

According to report, the five students are Arkshita Mohapatra,Subham Mohapatra,Himanshu Das,Lucy Das,all from Cuttack.The fifth one was  Sujit Sahoo of Dhenkanal .

According to report,all these five  by two motorcycles had gone to Saptasajya at about 11.30am.They have reportedly went to Ram temple and had a darshan of Sivlinga at a distance.Then they went inside the dense forest to trek with the help of google.After that they lost their way in the jungle and couldn’t return.

 

 

 Finally,they had contacted their parents to inform police and forest department of Dhenkanal. Dhenkanal DFO Sumit Kar and SDPO Bibuti Mohapatra rushed to Saptasajya and led an operation.

Initially they couldn’t contact the missing students.Finally, at about 11pm the students were tracked and the joint team advanced towards them amid rain in the jungle.Finally,the team reached to them around 12am last night and rescued the students at the top of the hill.They were all brought the ground at about 1.30am last minght.The DFO said the rescued students were examined at the hospital and were later released.
