Gautam Adani: We are working in 22 states, BJP is not in power in all states

NEW DELHI: Gautam Adani, the third richest person in the world, has made a big statement about his relationship with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Gautam Adani has told India TV in an exclusive interview on criticism that his fortunes have been boosted by his close relationship with Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been dismissed as he also works with several opposition-ruled states.

Gautam Adani said during the interview, “We want to invest maximum in every state. Adani Group is really happy that today it is operating in 22 states and not all these states are ruled by BJP. I can say that we don't have any problem with it be it any state government. We are working in Left-ruled Kerala, Mamata Didi's West Bengal, Naveen Patnaik's Odisha, Jaganmohan Reddy's state, even KCR's state."

Gautam Adani said in the show 'Aap Ki Adalat' (Aap Ki Adalat) hosted by Rajat Sharma, "I want to tell you that you can never get personal help from Modi ji. You can talk to them about national interest policies. But when a policy is made, it is for everyone, not just the Adani group.”

Gautam Adani also said that there is a misconception about his multi-billion-dollar group that banks are being overburdened. He said, “Our income has increased by 24 percent in the last seven-eight years, while our debt has increased by 11 percent. Our assets are four times more than our borrowings.” Gautam Adani said that I am successful with the blessings of the above.

Gautam Adani said he believes opposition leader Rahul Gandhi's repeated accusations of crony capitalism against him are "part of the business of politics". He gave the example of Rajasthan, which is ruled by Rahul Gandhi's Congress party.
