Glittering Viswakarma puja at Nalco township attracts thousands

ANGUL: Thousands of  people from Angul district and its adjoining districts are thronging into Nalco township to witness eight-day long famous Viswakarma puja.The entire Nalco township wears bride look with exquisite lighting,decorations gittering.In the township area there are  19 puja mandaps of power plant and smelter of Nalco have been erected in the township.

Not only people from Angul but also from Pallahara.Parjang,Dhenkanal and its adjoining areas are making a mad rush in the township.The  most attractive puja mandaps are cast house,Potline,boiler secion,the mechanical wing of smelter and others.Besides all the mandaps are more or less extremely attractive..Sumanta Pradhan from talcher whoo came to see puja along with his family said  like every year we have come along with my family to Nalco township to witness puja.Lightng is super so also decorations at mandaps food stalls are opened.There is a smooth passage of function in the township.I along with my family enjoyed puja.Besides,Viswakarma puja palishee mela have become become another attractions with scores of stalls have been opened where there is a mad rush..
