Good Friday holiday in the stock market, now trading will be done on Monday
New Delhi, Apr 7, (Fast Mail News):-- There will be no trading in the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) today due to the Good Friday holiday in the stock market. The stock market will now open on Monday.
Trading on BSE and NSE will remain closed on Friday as per the ongoing list of stock market holidays. This is the second holiday in this week. Earlier on Tuesday, the markets were closed on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti. Due to the holiday in the stock market on Saturday and Sunday as well, investors will now get the opportunity to trade on Monday only.
There will be no trading in Equity Segment, Equity Derivatives Segment and SLB Segment today on the occasion of Good Friday. Apart from this, trading in currency derivatives segment will also remain suspended. Significantly, next week on Friday, April 14, the stock market will remain closed on the occasion of Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti.
