Gulab Chand Kataria became the 31st Governor of Assam

Guwahati, Feb 22, (Fast Mail News):-- Gulab Chand Kataria on Wednesday took the oath of office and secrecy as the 31st Governor of Assam.

 

Gauhati High Court Chief Justice Justice Sandeep Mehta administered the oath of office and secrecy as the 31st Governor of Assam in a brief ceremony held at the auditorium of Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, Panjabari, Guwahati.

 

 

 Governor Gulab Chand Kataria is a resident of Udaipur, Rajasthan. Prior to his appointment as Governor, he had served as the Home Minister of Rajasthan and Leader of the Opposition in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly.
