‘I will shoot you', Woman biker got into tussle with traffic police on Bandra Worli C Link
MUMBAI:These days a video is going viral on social media in which a woman riding a bike is seen arguing with a traffic police officer. The video is of Mumbai's Bandra-Worli Sea Link on September 15. In the video, it can be seen a 26-year-old woman Nupur Patel was stopped by a traffic police officer on the Bandra-Worli Sea Link as she was riding her bike on the sea bridge. Since there was no permission to ride a bike on this bridge, she was stopped by the police.
According to the traffic police, the woman ignored the sign board at the entrance of Sea Link. According to officials, the policemen who stopped the woman abused her.
When the policemen asked the woman for documents related to the vehicle, she refused to show them. When the policemen asked the woman to go to the police station, she took out something shaped like a pistol and said that she would shoot with it . Later,it was known to be a cigarette lighter. Police took action and confiscated the lighter and two-wheeler and took the woman to the police station. This is sheer brazenness and rude, her language for Mumbai Traffic police on duty is disgusting, glad she has been arrested. Screams at the cops saying she’s from the government of Bharat. pic.twitter.com/5I2mVXEjXt
