In Maharashtra,MVA will win 225 seats in assembly election: Sharad Pawar
MUMBAI: The President of Nationalist Congress Party( Sharadchandra Pawar) Sharad Pawar said that in Maharashtra,the opposition alliance MVA will win 225 seats in assembly elections.
Addressing party workers,Pawar said, "Maharashtra is in wrong hands. People have indicated a change in the Lok Sabha elections. The picture is that the opposition in Maharashtra will win 225 out of 288 seats in the assembly elections”.

Pawar said that the opposition had won only six out of 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra in 2019, but this figure increased to 31 in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He said, "Maharashtra is in the wrong hands. People have indicated a change in the Lok Sabha elections. The picture is that the opposition will win 225 out of 288 seats in the (Maharashtra) assembly elections.''
The main opposition alliance in Maharashtra is the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) which comprises Shiv Sena(Udhhav Thackeray, Congress and NCP (Sharad Pawar).
