Israel launches multiple strikes on Iran amid fear of a wider war

TEHRAN:Israeli military reportedly conducted "precise strikes" against “military targets” in Iran, as explosions were heard in Tehran.

According to reports,the Israel Defense Forces is conducting precise strikes on military targets in Iran.

Israeli army radio said dozens of Israeli aircraft are launching attacks against Tehran, Meshed and a power station in Karaj.

Reports said,explosions were heard in the Iranian capital.Explosions were also heard in the capital, Damascus,according to reports.

Menwhile,Iran’s air defense force has confirmed Israeli attacks targeting positions in Tehran, Khuzestan and Ilam provinces, saying the offensives have caused limited damage.

Authorities in Tehran said there were no reports of incidents that required assistance and that the situation at Mehrabad International Airport and the Imam Khomeini International Airport was “normal.”

IRNA said Iranian air defenses “successfully shot down adversarial targets in the airspace around Tehran province.”

Footage shared online captured what appeared to be interceptions over the Iranian capital.
