NEET, name plate and special state status issues raised in all-party meet

 NEW DELHI: The issue of NEET paper leak, order to install name plate on the route of Kanwar Yatra in UP and demand for special state status was raised in the all-party meeting called by the Modi government today before the budget session of Parliament. JDU, RLD and Chirag Paswan's party, which are part of NDA, gheraoed BJP on these issues.

Sanjay Jha from JDU, an ally of NDA government, and Union Minister Chirag Paswan from Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) demanded special state status for Bihar. JDU said that if there is any problem in giving special state status, then Bihar should be given a special package. Opposition party RJD also demanded special state status for Bihar.

YSR Congress raised the issue of law and order in Andhra Pradesh and demanded imposition of President's rule in the state as well as special state status for the state. Biju Janata Dal also raised the issue of giving special state status to Odisha in the all-party meeting. JDU raised the issue of frequent floods in Bihar and demanded the Government of India to take action on this and also talk to neighboring country Nepal.

 

 

 Congress demanded in the all-party meeting to appoint a Deputy Speaker in the Lok Sabha and give this post to the opposition.Congress also demanded a discussion on the NEET issue in the House. Gaurav Gogoi from Congress, Sanjay Singh from AAP, Ram Gopal Yadav from SP, Asaduddin Owaisi from AIMIM and leaders of many other political parties including Left parties raised the Yogi government's decision to install 'name plates' during the Kanwar Yatra in the meeting.

BJD in Odishaand YSR Congress in Andhra Pradesh raised the issue of law and order in the all-party meeting.

 NCP (Ajit Pawar) faction MP Praful Patel, while talking to the media, demanded the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh to withdraw the decision taken regarding 'name plates'.
