Odisha Congress in-charge Ajay Kumar Lallu slams double engine govt for promoting hatred, violence, and division among people
Fast Mail News: Ajay Kumar Lallu, the newly appointed congress-in-charge for Odisha has slammed the double engine government both at the centre and in Odisha for promoting hatred, violence, and division among the people.
Lallu, while addressing media at Congress Bhawan in Bhubaneswar, said ,“My first task will be to bring down the double-engine government in the state, which is promoting hatred, violence, and division. Gross injustices are being inflicted on the tribal people, scheduled castes, and backward classes in this state”.
He said that every Congress worker is a warrior and they are not afraid.
“In Odisha, the lands of tribals and scheduled castes are being forcibly acquired and handed over to certain selected businessmen. Not only that, the law-and-order situation has become extremely dire since this government came to power, with more than 11 farmers committing suicide and tribal women facing brutal atrocities in various parts of the state. The safety of women, in general, has become a serious concern, yet this government is not addressing it seriously”Lallu said.
He stated that the state’s mineral resources are being looted, and there is a conspiracy to hand over Odisha’s vital mineral wealth to Adani. Congress will not tolerate this. The agitation will continue from the streets to the Assembly.
