Oppn walks out of Rajya Sabha; Kharge calls out Modi for ‘lying’ in House
NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Parliament on Wednesday in Rajya Sabha. During the proceedings,he responded to the discussion on the motion of thanks on the President's address. During his address, the opposition walked out protesting against the lying of the prime minister Narendra Modi in the Rajya Sabha.
Addressing the media, Mallikarjun Kharge said,”We walked out of the House because the Prime Minister was saying some wrong things while responding to the motion of thanks. He was lying, misleading people and speaking against the truth is his habit”.
Kharge said,” I asked them that they did not make the Constitution and they are against it. I just wanted to make it clear who is in favor of the Constitution and who is against it. The RSS wrote in its editorial in 1950 that the worst thing about the Constitution is that it has nothing about the history of India. They opposed the Constitution. They are against it from the beginning and they say that they are in favor of it. Effigies of Ambedkar, Nehru were burnt. Now they are saying that we are against it”.
