People on the streets in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, basic needs are not being met
Gilgit-Baltistan (Pak Occupied Kashmir), Mar 06, (Fast Mail News):-- Surrounded on the domestic front, Pakistan is now facing strong opposition in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) as well. In Gilgit-Baltistan of PoK, the basic needs of the people are not being met.
Angry people are on the streets demanding solutions to problems like electricity, fuel, roads, food. These people are also accusing the Government of Pakistan of atrocities and step-motherly treatment. These people are warning to intensify the movement if the atrocities do not stop.
Protesters are also angry with their elected representatives. They allege that instead of helping the common people, these representatives help the Pakistani authorities in exploiting the people. The Awami Action Committee, which is leading the protests at various places, says that the elected representatives have made Gilgit-Baltistan a colony of Pakistan. From here Pakistan exploits all kinds of resources and does not get any kind of facility in return.
