Rahul Gandhi met Hathras stampede victims, consoled them

HATHRAS: After meeting the Hathras stampede victims in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh in the morning, Congress MP and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi reached Hathras.He met the families of those who lost their lives and were injured in the Hathras stampede and consoled them. Sitting on the ground, he talked to the victims and assured them of all possible help.

After meeting the victims, Rahul Gandhi said, "It is sad.Many families have suffered. Many people have died. There is a lack of administration and mistakes have been made. Compensation should be given properly. I request the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh to give compensation openly. Compensation should be given as soon as possible. I have talked to the families." After meeting Rahul Gandhi, a member of the victim's family said, "Rahul Gandhi understood the pain of the victim's families and after that he said that he will raise this issue in the parliament and try to increase the compensation. Action should be taken for this accident."

Another member of the victim's family said, "He (Rahul Gandhi) asked us who do you consider guilty? We said that we consider Baba (Bhole Baba) guilty for this incident."
