Afghanistan scripts a big upset by defeating a great team like Australia by 21 runs in the T20 World Cup Super Eight stage match on Sunday. For Afghanistan, openers Rahmanullah Gurbaz (60) and Ibrahim Zadran (51) scored half-centuries to take the team to 148 for six.
All-rounder Gulbadin Naib took four wickets for 20 runs, with the help of which his team bowled out Australia for 127 runs in 19. 2 overs.
With this, Afghanistan has kept alive its hopes of reaching the semi-finals. The match between India and Australia on Monday can now be like a knockout. Afghanistan had defeated New Zealand in the group stage.
