UP: Roof of cold storage chamber collapses in Chandausi, 8 killed, FIR registered

Chandausi, Mar 17, (Fast Mail News):-- In Chandausi, Uttar Pradesh, 8 people died after the roof of the cold storage chamber collapsed. At the same time 11 people have been saved. In this case FIR has been registered against the owner and 2 nominated people. Sambhal SP Chakresh Mishra said that we have detained 4 people for questioning. An FIR has been registered against the owner of this place and two named people. The main accused are absconding, who are being searched. Only after the debris is removed will we be able to tell the real reason for the collapse of this building.

Earlier, District Magistrate Manish Bansal had told that till now we have saved 11 people and 5 people have died. NDRF is searching for the trapped people with the help of their sniffer dogs. We have increased our force for the morning. Other teams of NDRF and SDRF will also come by morning. Our effort is to finish it as soon as possible.

The roof of a cold storage chamber located on the Islam Nagar road of Chandausi area collapsed on Thursday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's office had said on this incident by tweeting that, "In view of the accident in the cold store in Chandausi district Sambhal, district administration officials, SDRF and NDRF teams went to the spot and provided immediate relief and Instructions have been given to carry out rescue work.
